He was on someone's stream, and at some point they were talking about political views. Apparently Jon said some stuff that infuriated people, and his channel has been inactive for a long time until now.
I wasn't at the stream, so I don't know exactly what he said that caused all of this.

Hasn't he mostly given up on that? He did Starcade, but seemed to suggest that it was more of an epic farewell to video game/Game Grumps fans than a return to classic form. He's largely been covering Nostalgia Critic subject matter (80s/90s movies/TV -- including this movie, which NC reviewed in 2009). I hope he doesn't go all-out with something tedious like the long-form cheesy parodies that NC shifted to.

He's given me a lot of laughs in the past so it's good to see he's back and isn't letting overly sensitive idiots bother him. Apparently if you aren't ultra left wing and have an opinion on something it makes you a massive racist.
