Why do people use google chrome?

I wouldnt say its a bad browser as theres worse, but theres browsers thats much better in terms of speed,privacy, and appearance.
Do they feel cool because they arent using the default or something?

No, every browser that I'm aware of has multiple ad blockers.

For people who use chrome try using:
Opera
Firefox
Vivaldi
Iridium
Brave

Most of these are probbaly slower than chrome but an extra .150th of a second doesnt really matter when you get an overall better browser

Also most browsers have a free version of adblock in there extension store or you can go to the "adblockplus" website if theres nothing there
i know using adblock is bad and all but sitting through 2 minutes of ads to watch a video or view something almost anywhere you go is to painful

I have to disagree, I don't care if the site i'm using loose money.
If the site worths it, and it has discreet ads without pop-ups then I may whitelist it.

Firefox. Screw the rest. I did finally have to update my firefox to a more current version but like someone above says: then modded the crap out of it to make it NOT like Chrome.

if I wanted Chrome I'd use it.
