Jeez you're out for blood. Let me just hide in the corner and whisper that view bob is kind of a mean feature.
I never said it wasn't mean or sort of silly. I rather like actually being able to aim while running.
Therefore, unless the idea of FIRST-PERSON is to emphasise that we are viewing through someone ELSE'S EYES *** then it makes no sense to incorporate this feature.
The only reasonable explanation is that it is some means to counter the ability to aim - to add some random inaccuracy according to motion: Well in that case, there's still not really any need for significantly sickening display, just a slight bobbing/blurring is good enough and the rest can be done simply by altering the spread pattern of the shots!
*** Maybe itäs related to how there's an insistence of lens flares despite no real reason to believe anything's actually viewed through a lens???
I do, it's called "Found Footage". Zing.
Then the brain tries to be all Obama and work out a workable compromise between them but the stoimach be going all GOP and saying NOPE. and next thing you know everything is a mess.
If you do it rigfht.. they never find the footage. Heh heh heh
Now that I think about it, a "most dangerous game" style horror movie with some psycho that puts gopros on his victims and releases them into the wild would be a fascinating if not vomit inducing experience.
Fixed it for you.
Have you seen the latest Resident Evit game? It supports VR in such a way.

My new head canon, except for maybe games where you can look down. L4D 1 and Mount and Blade come to mind.
Who says there is no motion blur? This is the first I have heard of someone saying that.
I'm not sure what is happening with you, but at first i thought you were playing VR games, but you're just playing normal games and moving to left and right, sounds like something serious. Could be fear of something, i know i feel sick when i am on tall buildings , i mean I'm scared of heights , that all started with 9/11 though, even though i always had a fear of heights, but it got worse after 9/11.
meet the robinsons on the wii made me feel like that, like i get dizzy easy, but most games make me feel fine.
A little personal background.
I am deaf and wearing hearing aids from as long I can remember.
And yes, I am very susceptible to car sickness from childhood times, I always have to take a Dramamine (anti-nausea med) to survive the drive (but only if I am not the driver).
I also have glasses from age 7 (mixed dioptre and it changes regularly per year, so I am waiting for to get a new glasses right now).
But yes, I can read books on PC desktop monitor (it is 22 inches LED), and I am watching movies with no problem. I also have MacBook Pro 15 inches laptop and the same problem with playing games but not with reading or watching movies.
