Duck begins with "D"
Jump begins with "J"
Run begins with "R"
Sprint begins with "S"
Fire begins with "F"
Now, walk begins with "W", so that works.
...I use the "x" key for crouching.
Unless there is no sprint, then I use shift. I actually avoid using left CTRL at all in gaming because my pinky hates it.
Come to think of it though, I mostly use a 360 controller to avoid most keybinding awkwardness.
This is what System Shock 2 does for default. The S button is the crouching button. My fingers have to work like spaghetti.
Wait, what???
How in the hecks are you reaching the left CTRL with your thumb?
Normally your thumb is on the space bar and the furthest key left you can really reach with your thumb is left ALT.
