What's the scariest looking skybox you've ever seen?

For those who don't know, the skybox is just the texture placed on the "sky" in games to make them appear three-dimensional/more realistic. In otherwords it's basically just the sky in video games.

Anyway, for me I thought the ghostly galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy was pretty terrifying. But it might just be due to the fact I have a fear of deep space.

I wanna say the skybox from the Soul Cairn in Skyrim, because that's the creepiest one I can recall. Just an eerie purplish sky with a huge abyss watching over you.

I honestly have no clue, but the Quake 1 skybox somehow creep me out. Then again, the lovecraftian theme did spooked me from beginning to end.

Amazing enemies and sounds definitely aided the atmosphere.

On its own, I think the skybox is actually very pretty. But the environment itself is what makes it really creepy, in my opinion. The mist on the ground, all the distant lightning and the black stone ruins.
