Wiiu games on Nintendo Switch
I was wondering if I bought a virtual copy of, say, me3 or smb4 on wii u and connected accounts, would I be able to download and play those games on the switch? Or, would wii u games be purchasable on the switch?

My guess is that you'd have to repurchase it on the Switch.

I'm pretty sure the two are seperate but wouldn't be surprised if they merged them in the future.

From what I've heard, not at the moment. Full wiiU games probably won't ever be cross-buyable, but if Nintendo knows what they're doing, they will eventually make virtual console games cross-buyable.

Nintendo will do as it always has. Any game you previously owned on the other system will have to be repurchased for the new system.

90% of chance wii U games will not run on Switch, because it's totally different Mobile CPU + GPU architecture, besides it's not powerFull enough to run the emulation. it can't even run their own Zelda Games at 1080p. they set it to 900p.

what more can you expect from a 15 watt battery operated tablet......

So much for "next gen", huh?

you will not believe- nintendo fans are so blind, they will buy anything Nintendo sell..., also they can't even hear a single word against Nintendo.

I don't think the Switch is a terrible system, but I consider it to be within the handheld category, and not a home console system, even though it hooks to a TV. I heard it runs worse streamed to a TV, and that alone makes it a handheld system IMO. It's designed to be played handheld first and on a TV as an after thought. I don't like the switch for the $300 price tag.

I think the system is going to get mostly Nintendo kiddy games though. And games ported to the Switch from PS4/XB1 are probably gonna run like ♥♥♥♥, and won't be worth buying.

I don't think anyone (especially Nintendo) has claimed the Switch is 9'th gen. Also, isn't the reason the PS4 can't emulate the PS3 because the PS3's CPU is more powerful?
