PC Games Full of Immature Players?

There is an overwhelming amount of pussified extremist players on PC games compared to their console counterparts. Using really cheap weapons/tactics in order to get every little bit of edge. I've done this kind of stuff before, but honestly I don't find it fun at all. Spawncamping, camping, using OP weapons, etc. What's the fun if you can't beat the enemy in the most challenging way? I just had somebody brag about how their K/D was at 2.73 on Battlfield 3 and mine was at 2.65, when the only reason they have that K/D is because they use cheap tactics. Who's the better player? Me of course, I acheived a higher K/D using underpowered weapons simply to see what I could do with them in that match. On console, these players exist less frequently, and I just assume that they are a bit more casual and don't care enough to play like that. I've always played the same and therefore say it's not the platform that makes the gamer. Anyway, I've noticed an increase of these players since I've started on PC.

Just another thing to deal with. As a side bonus it's much more satisfying to kill them.

[edit]I mean specificly. Do you mean stuff like bunny hopping, camping, eploiting terrain, etc.

In Battlefield 4, I remember people used to proper camp the tanks and just shot from a distance with it, if they got damaged, they would just repair themselves instantly since they were an engineer and thus when the match ended, they would have 50.00 K/D even when they were playing objective.
That's my only problem, when people don't play the game properly.

personally I can't stand players that pick only the top tier and overpowered classes/heroes in games. They don't care for the story/lore of the character or how they fit into the team at all, they just choose "what is the best"

Funny thing is when I beat them using the crappy classes/heroes.

Immature and other distasteful people are on each and every platform.
PC players often have the advantage of mods and cheating but that's why VAC servers are around for.

K/D ratios should never have become a thing really, it creates monsters and people like OP who can't handle that other people are simply better at one thing.

Being better at that game =/= they are better than you OP.

Not saying they don't exists elsewhere, but I agree with you on the other points.

That isn't limited to PC games. You will find this kind of behavior on any gaming platforum, extending over multiple languages, cultures and ager groups. The more people you get together, the greater the chances of running into people who act like this becomes.

Please understand I'm not saying they only exist on PC, but from my experiences they exist more on PC.

I prefer a mix, I like to win and I like to be good, but damn. I'm not gonna stress myself out trying to use every bit of everything I can to get it.

This is pretty much a thing in every game and every game system that exists. Quite honestly, I know I am not really that old, but I can't be bothered to put much attention to anything like this anymore. And sure, multiplayer has always been competitive, sure, some tactics are better than others, and sure, cheating is never going to escape.

Really, all I can do is move on with my day and move onto games I can actually enjoy. And now they're pretty much single-player primarily, mainly because I am just not dedicated anymore as it is. Ah well, maybe until a multiplayer game that isn't Quake Live or TF2 can finally catch my interest, that would be nice.
