Google chrome lagging when playing steam games. Help Please!
Me and a few of my friends have noticed for the last week or so whenever we play steam games which mostly are h1z1 kotk and gta 5 online, whenever we tab out and go to google chrome the browser just lags and any youtube videos or twitch streams start to buffer a lot randomly and stutters a lot. We all have dual monitor setups and we play the games in windowed mode. This only started happening recently and whenever it lags and I do a speedtest i'm running at very low ping and around 250mbps. Please help if you know how we can fix this because it's getting very annoying now.

I have more than enough ram and this didn't happen before. It only started a few weeks ago.
Task manager and check processes and peformance overall, if its that kind of lag. Or just try other browser and see if it does the same, firefox is lighter and much better overall imo
Actually go fullscreen with the video and it won't be as much of a problem.

As for H1Z1, I'd imagine it's just poor optimization taking a toll on your system. You'll notice this kind of thing happen a lot while loading in other games.

Best solution? Play the game in a borderless window on your primary monitor, "fullscreen" the video in Chrome (also a borderless window in reality) on your other.

I always play borderless on my main monitor. Also this is happening to 2 of my friends too.

I do know that a Windows 10 update a while back was hot trash and ruined multimonitor support in general, so I'd check Windows 10's Settings panel for the latest update to make sure you aren't on that awful build.
