Many factors can cause it, such as unsteady framerate, motion blur, field of view, view bob ect.
Many of these can be lowered on a PC and are not as noticeable on a console.
I've only experienced something like this with two games after playing for long periods of time.
One I can't remember and refunded it because it was so bad. The second one I played over 2 hours straight and felt sick for a while. That one was Biosock inft.
I get motion sickness from some games, but not all. But if there's a motion blur toggle turn that crap OFF.
