Just a royal pain in the butt.
One is a slow heavy hitter and one is a fast and light hitter.
One is close range and one is mostly long range.
One has low hp and one has high hp.
Of course they are a pain in the backside to split up but it's doable, just takes a while to beat it safely.
This is solo by the way, you never truly beat it if you summoned for the fight.
Dark Souls 3 pontiff is actually harder though, it's just not as famous, he has an almost impossible movement to manipulate and he hits like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ truck, luckily we have more iframes in the dodge on ds3 and it's 60fps.
Ninja Gaiden is therefore just a dance, much like final fantasy xiv raid mechanics.
There is no thinkinh, just routine.
I get frustrated by crappy bosses more so than difficult bosses
As for Boss battles, nithral from the Witcher 3 was a pain in the ass. Especially because of the freezing portal sequence mid fight, where you basically have to start the whole fight again after u closed the portals.
