Anyone been PC gamers from the start?
This isn't an arguement about which platform is better and I wan't to see absolutely none of it in this thread. I'm just curious, has anyone always been a PC gamer there whole life? I have, as I never owned a Console, I started with some random flash games when I was very young (yes flash games, i'm still rather young), then moved on to playing Roblox for 5 years straight (2009-2014), and then I started getting into using Steam on my brothers account until I eventually made my own as I got my own PC, what about you guys?

Ive started using pc at around 9yo and my first games were flash games from computer magazine cd-s, or online dressup games. After that I was introduced to diablo 2, heroes of might and magic 3, warcraft 3 by my step brother and ive never strayed off pc since.
I started with Flash Games when I was 5 or so.

LOL I think id get super bored now of them
For some reason Boom Boom Volleyball stuck with me in memory
Nope. I got a NES on my 7th birthday. After a few years I became more interested in PC games but I rarely played them until my mom brought a PC home when I was 13.
Started playing Wolf 3d and Doom back in 92. I've never been satisfied with console gameplay and I find it to be rather limited and weak. PC is the only way.
Started with an Atari in '79. Didn't get my first computer until '83. FIrst IBM PC I owned was in '85.
I started off on a Nintendo 64 then made my way to PC once I get a stable internet connection. ♥♥♥♥ dial-up.
Always played PC games primarily runescape, flash games and the occasional Counter strike source, but I also played console and thats where I did a majority if my gaming. I would say I did about 70% console 30%PC up until 4 years ago. Ive been 100% PC for about 4 years now though.
I started off with a mix between NES, SNES, N64, Sega genesis, and Playstation 1. Also some atari but I do not remember what one.

I got into computer games around 2008 or 9 though. Maybe even 2007. Back when there was some funny good old Youtube videos.
Nope, my first dedicated gaming PC I built two years ago.
Sort of. The first games i ever played were on pc, however then i started playing lots of Nintendo games on wii at home and gamecube and n64 at a friend's house, and then drifted back to pc mainly and now hold a bit of a balance, although i do spend most time on pc now.
Commodore +4 - no idea what my dad was thinking,
BBC - floppy disks when everyone else was still on cassette :D
286 - onwards from there. Built my own from dad's leftovers as he upgraded until I could afford my own.
Yep. I started playing PC games on an old Commodore 64 back in the early 90's (1992, I believe). It had great games. So yeah, a very long time ago now lol.
Sort of, I was more of a nintendo guy but I have always played flash games, I did have a section where I played xbox 360 a bit but I would normally be on flash games till I found roblox, roblox till I found minecraft, minecraft till I could play tf2 and here I am today.
Started off with an actual 4 switch wood paneling Atari 2600 from 1982 (still have it and it still works), and original NES... We weren't rich enough to get an actual family PC till the begining of the 90s with an "Apple IIc+"... First actual internet computer we got was around the mid/late 90s, some overpriced "gateway 2000" branded crapbox.

"Built" my first gaming PC in 2000-2001 out of discarded parts I found behind the local Best-Buy, Fry's electronics, Radioshack, and Circuit City.
Started with the Playstation 2 which my brother owned and I wasn't allowed to play more than 10 mins a day, then got a Gameboy which was top notch gaming for me, after that I got a huge box which was supposed to be a computer and I played solitaire on it all the time and after I discovered the Internet in 2011 I got a laptop and played on those flash games and MeinKraft for a while before finding out about Steam in 2013 or something
