Initially built as a 3900x/x570 build right before the world went crazy but after struggling with countless USB related issues, I sprung my Micro Center replacement plans for a 10900KF/z490 setup instead. Should have gone with an Intel CPU from the start.

Figures I'd post this and then just a few days later I'd replace the Red Devil 5700XT with a Red Devil 6800XT. Let the ray tracing begin!

Intel CPUs > AMD CPUs.

AMD GPUs > nVidia GPUs.

Fite me.

Oh did I drop this? "/s"

*rollseyes*

I don't see "brand vs brand arguments" in the rules but I do see "backseat moderating". Reported.

It's a rule on this sub-forum, you didn't read the pinned thread. It's near the bottom.

There's not supposed to be anything regarding brand vs brand if it's clearly made to incite arguments. And Steam moderators won't punish people who backseat moderate if they aren't actually posing a problem. I'm not posing a problem with this, but you're going to make a problem of yourself with that attitude.

This thread isn't even supposed to have anything but specs posts but they haven't really enforced it since rotNdude passed away, only when things get out of hand.

Well so far the only person not talking specs has been you so.....

Which is exactly what you're also not doing. They don't care as long as people aren't flaming or starting brand vs brand wars by making their preferences public, especially when popular opinion now contrasts it because it doesn't end well.

Oh wow, you should think of a CPU upgrade to something better that, hopefully, your mobo supports. Hardware Unboxed did a video on nVidia driver overhead that badly affect their GPU when couple with a slower Intel/AMD CPU. If you play at high res and ingame settings, it would help mitigate the driver overhead issue.

you mean i3 9100f bottleneck RTX 3080 at very demanding games like Cyberpunk? may be I go for upgrading CPU. although, I often either play DayZ or old school games like Counter Strike Source xD

In games like CS:GO, you can get way more frames with a faster CPU, and those kinds of e-sports titles benefit heavily from that. It literally gives you an advantage over other players.
