Does a high temp on a GPU cause screen tear or stuttering?
Title says it all. I am very curious and i need to know. Thanks

It can cause artifacting, display driver crashes.
Stuttering is a possibility, but that could be caused by anything really.
Tearing can be caused if you arent using Vsync. If you arent using VSync enable it, it may lower your temps some as the power/heat your PC can generate is somewhat limited by it when VSync is enabled..

Thanks. Also, What is considered a high temp, ideal temp and excelent temp WHEN playing a game? Ive been thinking that maybe i'm getting too high temp but i'm not sure. Thanks again.

Not screen tear (this is controlled by VSYNC) but possibly stuttering, depending on whether your GPU is throttling at those high temps.

there's a possiblity that the stuttering is caused entirely by the game. i know that far cry 3 blood dragon stutters like crazy in borderless windowed moded, but plays perfectly smooth in fullscreen mode. also i learned that stutter can sometimes be caused by the page memory pool size when adjusting settings to bioshock infinite's ini file, but still caused by the game.

others have found that unparking their cores in the windows power management settings helps reduce/remove stuttering.
