consider 500s only if u have more money and u pay attention to visual impression that mouse make. If you are just looking for performance dont overpay for "s" editions
All great answers guys, thanks for your help. I have been leaning to the G500 but didn't know whether to pay for the 's' edition.
Where would I get that for £35/$45? I have only seen that for £80/$100. Do you mean the normal RAT 7? If you do mean the MMO edition could you point in the direction of the cheap price?
Huh? I got mine for $50 at newegg.com and the custom weighting is unparalled. I don't know about the "s" series though.
last purchase was a razer mamba and have to say not been impressed.
'they' say the razer deathadder is the FPS gamers one of choice so for me it's been a toss up between that or the roccat kone xtd
i hear that the new 2013 deathadder has had some issues, so i'm gonna plump for the roccat i think. plus it has adjustable weight which is handy.
saying that, i've never had an issue with logitech. the old mx518(?) was solid, and even my original mx1000 is still going, with no issues even on wireless. nothing like what i have now unfortunately!
i think the roccat is worth a look they seem to be doing good things....
