Gaming Mouse for FPS/RTS/MMO
I play mostly FPS and use palm grip. I need a new mouse preferably below £60. Willing to hear all suggestions :)

consider 500s only if u have more money and u pay attention to visual impression that mouse make. If you are just looking for performance dont overpay for "s" editions
RAT 7 MMO edition
that's what i remembered from the indtroduction of the mouse. General tought - changes aren't worth the price difference. Next thing is that i don't recommend Razer "new" products. I had deathadder - was great, no problems, Lachesis - works till now without problems, imperator(won in the competition - new but without any proof of buying and blank warranty - had to throw it away after 4 months of usage - double left click instead of single click issue. If u play mostly mmo's then naga is for u, if more fps/rts logitech have enough configurable buttons. Heard about r.a.t. mices if u have unusal hand size or just want to have full controll of mouse shape. I wanted to buy it instead of my g500 but it was almost double the price i paid for my g500.

All great answers guys, thanks for your help. I have been leaning to the G500 but didn't know whether to pay for the 's' edition.
I'd like to add another vote for the RAT 7 MMO edition. It's a great mouse for pretty much the same price as G500. While i do like logitech mice and use MX Revolution myself for over 4 years, RAT 7 MMO variant always caught my eye, because of it's customization, size (it's really hard to find large mice these days) and unparalleled macro drivers that blow out of the water all competition (for example I had a macro for CoD4 with which I managed to get 1200RPM rate of fire from a pump action shotgun, that was using the old Saitek Cyborg Mouse).

Where would I get that for £35/$45? I have only seen that for £80/$100. Do you mean the normal RAT 7? If you do mean the MMO edition could you point in the direction of the cheap price?:bandit:

Huh? I got mine for $50 at newegg.com and the custom weighting is unparalled. I don't know about the "s" series though.

My bad, here in serbia G500 is at about 80$.
currently in the same situation.
last purchase was a razer mamba and have to say not been impressed.
'they' say the razer deathadder is the FPS gamers one of choice so for me it's been a toss up between that or the roccat kone xtd
i hear that the new 2013 deathadder has had some issues, so i'm gonna plump for the roccat i think. plus it has adjustable weight which is handy.
saying that, i've never had an issue with logitech. the old mx518(?) was solid, and even my original mx1000 is still going, with no issues even on wireless. nothing like what i have now unfortunately!
i think the roccat is worth a look they seem to be doing good things....

The amount of responses have been awesome! Steam truly is the best gaming community. With all the support for logitech I had to go for the G700 (£45 on ebay). On its way now.:postcardb:
