The main difference is obviously the board size. Because of this it has less internal connectors. So you wouldn't be able to SLI (2 x graphics cards) and it lacks sata-express and m2 sata. There are 2 less usb sockets on the rear i/o panel. And it has less overclocking ability due to 2 less power phases, and not having the ultra durable capacitors.
I already re-called up to confront him about the sudden change to the micro MOBO... You think it will be okay to call up a third time within the same hour to change it to a normal Z97?
♥♥♥♥, I hate dealing with people... I should have done this MOBO change myself, I always get taken advantage of. :-(
The sata-express, m2 sata and ultra durable capacitors, are they huge things that will effect performance? I am not really concerned with sli though.
Probably only if you plan to overclock or buy those particular ssd drives.
Sorry, "taken advantage of" was a wrong choice of words. I will just keep the micro MOBO.
