I would read the manual very closely, because I'm not sure what may have happened by doing a BIOS reset.
I was updating my bios for the i7-4790k, you need a Z97 mobo or update the bios of your Z87 to use an i7-4790k... So yeah, the PC was not on my desk. I leant over my PC stupidly to reach something... And well, the rest is history.
I know it was very stupid, but it is done now, there is nothing I can do about it now. :-(
I'll check, thanks for the info.
If its under warranty they'll usually just reflash the BIOS for you (if your honest). My advice, if its under warranty be honest, if not then your forking out for a new board I'm afraid (If RotNs suggestion doesn't fix it for you)

most of the time, you send in the board (after filling out the rma form)
they verify the mfg date and determine its not abused, then they will fix it for free, and send it back
I'm surprised it doesn't have a secondary factory BIOS for recovery purposes.
If that doesn't work, you'd need to send it back for repair.
if it crashed, rebooted, ect.. during the bios flash process its a currupt bios and needs to be rma'd
Thanks for the help everyone.
Another thing to consider is, with the change to a different motherboard you may run into blue screens when you attempt to load windows, if that happens you'll have to format and do a clean OS install.
I know how to do that, no problem. Well same as the Bios update, but I had to be an idiot and lean over the computer to grab something. :-(
