PS3 Controller Not Detected?
Windows 8
So I've spend a few hours trying to solve this and still nothing. I recently got DarkSoulsII and would like to use my PS3 controller with it. I tried MotionJoy, but it didn't seem to detect my controller. I then tried this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpSaOJJIun8&feature=youtu.be, but still no joy. When I first plugged in the PS3 controller, I saw all the software automatically being installed. The charging lights on the controller turned on, and when I go into the Control Panel and look at devices, underneath the category "Unspecified", "PLAYSTATION(R) 3 Controller" appears. When I look at it's properties, under the hardware tab, the Manufacturer is "Scarlet. Crush Productions", the Location is "Port_#0001.Hub_#0006, and Device Status is "This device is working properly."
If anyone could offer some help it would be much appreciated, really looking forward to playing DarkSoulsII.

http://emulation-general.wikia.com/wiki/SCP_Driver_Package i dont know what i really did, but i believe i used this one. hope this helps
Fixed it! (Using the method I linked with a video) I went to the run-file labelled ScpService and unblocked it (Windows auto blocked it). I then ran the ScpDriver file again and my controller is working now!
