Problems with running Assassins Creed Unity on my PC
Can someone help me out with this?
Assassins Creed Unity runs very bad on my computer. Maybe it's my processor?

Processor: Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 960
Ram: 8GB
Windows 7 Home Premium

Your CPU is fine. AC Unity is bunch of badly optimized garbage that runs badly even on high-end monster rigs.

So, there is nothing I can do to make it run better? Thanks for your reaction.

to make it run better, turn down settings

AC Unity for some reason runs on Intel HD Graphics. You can switch it to you're NVIDIA GTX by right clicking on the desktop, and selecting the control panel of NVIDIA Graphics. Then you can select ACU.exe and have it run on the NVIDIA HIgh-end graphics. I had this problem and this fixed it. Also restard your computer after so that you have more RAM.

That is when running on a laptop w/ Intel + NVIDIA GPUs; nothing to do with the topic at-hand.

To the OP:
For one thing, GTX 960 doesn't exactly meet the full game requirements in order to run UNITY on high/ultra settings. Please lower the settings and then it should run smooth. Also ensure all your Drivers (Intel Chipset, SATA, AHCI, Audio, GPU) are all up to date to help ensure best gameplay your system specs can provide.

This guide may help you understand the in-game settings and how to better apply settings based on your specs > http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/assassins-creed-unity-graphics-and-performance-guide

What I did that kinda helped my performance was put it at optimal settings. Then take off anti aliasing and shadows and it works decently for me. Try it out let me know.

plus run it offline and no ambient occlusion. Run it 900p if you still have low fps

Thanks, but it didn't help for me though.

The game even has lag when I startup and my mouse seems to react 2 seconds later...
