Is that thing pressed in or is it popped out?
https://www.msi.com/Power-Supply/MPG-A1000G
I have a pretty mangled pc case, in order to fit my card Into my case I basically got rid of the section and also at one point the clip meant to keep the card in place also came off I have been able to use both for a while but I am starting to think I need to buy a big new case.
also sometimes I have to reseat the GPU just to get the PC to turn on so its gotta be that.....god putting a PC together is a pain in the ass.
looks like its fan profile is only to output wattage not heat/temp
not all modular cables are pinned the same
be sure to keep the cable with the psu they came with
even same brand and sometimes similar models have differently pinned cables
edit:
if the case is damaged you should get a new case for the build
Go for a case that is big but also has a removable GPU bracket (or even better, a fully modifiable case), thank me later.
