Fixing analog controller drift?
I was wondering if anyone could point me to something that might virtually compensate for this problem. The controller I'm using is very sticky on the left analog. Maybe there is some popular tool to do this?

Hopefully this is the right forum. Thank you for any help.

The best way I know is with a cronusmax. It's a small usb device which plugs between a controller and the console/PC. You can program it to increase the deadzone on the analogue sticks and completely remove the drift.

If it is on PC and you use an XInput controller (like Logitech F310/F710, Xbox360/One) you can use this tool to customize your controller, such as the dead-zones.

Some explanation was given here; very easy to do.
