In actuality, it's performance is around a 6700XT. But only due to the unique benefit of everything being designed around that hardware, they can squeak out more performance on a slower chip.
Why it struggles to run games still, even with that dreadful blurry upscaling the Pro uses.
The ps5 pro is no where near that level of performance, uses far worse upscaling tech and runs stuff at far lower equivalent settings to those shown.
Edit.
OK, just noticed the date of the original post, why did you necro your own post no one cared about 6 months ago lol.
It's an underpowered and slightly cutdown 4070 ti. 175w is still a lot especially if you undervolt your laptop gpu.
All in all it's pretty efficient for a laptop gpu and the new gen laptops are barely any faster just due to the power limit constraints (and 50xx being on the same node so efficiency not being much better) but more and faster memory is nice.

Depends on the model but yes if you can game on a desktop it's a better experience overall but not everyone can or wants to bother with a desktop. All good.
It's due to the power constraints... it's basically a 4080m with faster memory but less horsepower but due to power limit constraints that doesn't matter. The 5090 is going to be like... 15-20% faster at 4k than the 4070ti... 25% at most. The only thing the 5090 has is 2x the vram and its faster which is nice but its not double the freaking price nice.
