Which specific models are your speaker systems?
creative A250
speedlink gravity 2.1
Reference the manual for your Xonar SE

https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/Audio_Card/Xonar_SE/Q19789_Xonar_SE_QSG_V3_WEB.pdf?model=Xonar%20SE

Connect the "front L&R" output (jack number 2) to your Creative A250 stereo input
Connect the "Side surround" output (jack number 3) to your Speedlink Gravity 2.1 stereo input

It's not a great solution because you're not using an actual surround speaker set which will be separating out Front L/R, Side Surround L/R, and Center/Sub channels. But it should work if its correctly connected. I'm guessing you have them connected to jack 1 and 2 which jack 1 is the microphone / line in jack (not an output).

EDIT: Also make sure you've installed the latest driver for the Xonar SE, and ensure your audio output settings in Windows 11 are configured for surround output.

i will check...give me some minutes
hell yeah! i connected both speaker sets and this is how i succeeded:
i switched the speaker setup in the driver to 5.1 speakers and installed 5.1 upmix function in foobar2000 audioplayer...it works.
thx for your help!
cu.
You should be able to select quadrophonic or 4 chanel. Choosing 5.1 will have missing audio due to no center speaker connected. Quad will work as intended. It was the precursor to 5.1
yes... i did this...thank you very much.

:-D
yea, most 2.1 are really stereo with stereo mix lfe for sub
5.1 uses 1 headphone jack for center/sub, if its not connected those will be missing
i connected one 2.1 set to the frontspeaker jack and the other to the rear speaker set. i have output and that is what i wanted: sound on both speaker sets. i just bought the asus xonar se and wanted to try this.
thank you to everyone.
have a nice day.
