Headset Mic not working
I use an Audio Technica ATH PG1 headset, and the audio seems to be coming from the left cuff with my boom mic plugged in. It doesn't pick up my voice, any help?

Where are you plugging it? Often find PC cases and soundcards have a separate mic, 1 black ring, and headphone jack, 2 black ring. That has mic and left/right audio on a single jack, 3 black rings on the jack. Not all jacks can read the signals correctly from those.

Even if they can read the audio correctly with a port only meant for audio out it would lack the ability to connect and use the mic part.

First of all plug it in another device. Phone, console or maybe a laptop as they often have audio and mic on a single jack. If it works fine then you need a splitter.

First suitable item I found for example

Im using the Y splitter it comes with. It has 2 audio cables, one with a goose neck boom mic and one with a mobile earbud like mic attached to the cable. The goose neck mic doesn't work but the other one does. Im plugging it into my front panel.
