So 32 Go can be good for some games but not all
Only a little for the moment
Only if you have a high end computer and play and high graphic / resolution
When you want to Stream or work on videos (recorded footage) you will need high RAM.
32GB is currently all round really well. You have enough space in your memory to do most things and can keep your manu browser tabs opened up while playing games (so you can alt tab out, etc.)
16 is just...just a tiny bit too little for modded minecraft (especially 180+ modpacks)
one other upside is that you can disable pagefile paging if you just plan on mostly using 24 out of the 32GB; which if you run a full SSD system may not be worth much to be honest, but maybe..
You can also create a virtual storage device inside your RAM and just use that for whatever.. idk. More RAM can be useful at least.
Yeh, don't go disabling page-file. Not only does it harm nothing to keep it but there are multiple windows components and *even* games (yes even games) which are outright programmed with the explicit expectation of the page file being there.
Just because someone on the internet has a system that managed to run without one does not mean its good to diable them. Much the same as how though people run an R9 on an a320 board, an FX on a 760g, or a modern high end GPU on a 700w bronze, none are good things to do. Dont encourage bad things.
But go ahead, make credibility claims statements without cause. How about you show your own?
I'll wait. You either wont, or will try and fail, either way it will make me lol.
You though, you are just trolling. That has been blatant the whole time. First dude is (hopefully) just some poor soul who read the wrong thing online somewhere, but your trollishness shone through a mile away. Much as I knew you wouldn't bother to try and back yourself and would scurry away.
Go ahead though, trolling never gets anyone far ;)
In the meantime, as I said, I will enjoy my lols at your pathetic attempts at troll-ish posting. You could try harder couldn't you?
Neither a good troll, nor a good debater. Also seemingly not that great at tech either?
Though, personally I have been a proponent of high ram values for quite some time. I have run 32GB for the past ~7 years in all my main line rigs.
Did this happen because of the way I said it? I didn't mean literally disabling all paging, but the paging to pagefile / disabling pagefile. (swap on linux)
I just wanted to note that you 'can' disable pagefile. Due to the large RAM sum, its unlikely you run into microsoft beeping up because of RAM shortage if you plan on using 24GB or less mostly. There was no promoting the idea intended; but the choice is there without microsoft being a bother.
I apologize for my word use. I'll correct the post.
So the idea is that you have more freedom / more choice. I find that freedom an upside.
Dont let it bother ya, trolls be trolls.
