Best computer for running American Truck Simulator, CS:GO, and similar spec
Currently I have a macbook pro which is not good for running ATS. So I am looking for a computer to play the games mentioned above. What would you recommend? Thanks.

Basically anything can work for csgo I'm not familiar with the other 2 but I would suggest get full fledged gaming PC I would not suggest a prebuilt but if your boring then be boring and lazy with a prebuilt but if your really going to put forth some big bucks you can build a gaming PC similar to the one I built I suggest using PCpartpicker to ether find a gaming pc someone built or build your own

Do you need the portability of a laptop? Building your own desktop would be a cheaper option and you would be able to get more performance out of it.

Thanks for some advice. I don't really need a portability as I mainly use my laptop for other purposes as well. Also I am thinking about building one but because I have never done it before and I don't know how much money to put in and what spec to use so I would lean towards prebuilt ones and maybe mini pcs if possible.

This would run pretty much anything on 1080p monitor.
Or if this is too expensive then you could use GTX 960 or 950 instead.

ATS runs better than ETS2 does but is still a power hog. To run it looking nice, even my 980ti gets frame drops in towns. My system with a 970 doesn't do well at with it. I would say get the as close to a 1080 as the bank manager will allow.

Well you dont need to crank everything to the max to make it look decent enough.

im getting one that is 1080p 60fps constant (able to run benchmarks at 90fps) my build has a superclocked 960 i can run everything on high basically without losing frames you can mix and match for your pricepoint but heres the list for mine http://pcpartpicker.com/list/4Mdhqk
