Failing that, if you do go for a console, wait a bit until the new XB1 is out. For a console, it is going to be a beast of a machine.
To be honest, I allready have 66 games on Steam, and about 20 on Origin/UPlay, so it's really hard for me to give that away now for a console. I would really like to keep my current setup, but I just don't know why it just can't be stable.
And yes, unplugging the dongle doesn't help in this specific situation, because the gamepad is on after waking up, it's just that Big Picture doesn't recognize it's input until I restart it.
the controller will still sleep
bios should have options for cpu fan and a few headers, you can get a fan controller with temp sensor for extra case fans
In the end I can conclude that there must be some kind of bug in Big Picture that prevents gamepad to propertly function after wake.
If there could be a way to power up my PC with Xbox One controller instead waking from sleep it could be the solution I'm looking for, because my SSD would make it a quick boot up. Maybe there is? I have Asus H81M-K motherboard? Are there any jumpers or such that would allowed me to turn my PC wirelessly with my Xbox One controller/Wireless reciever? Wireless reciever is recognized as network device in Windows 10.
hdd should be quieter than a fan
if its noisy its time to replace it
When I normaly mount that HDD to case it's really loud. However, even with it lying on that foam thing, HDD temps under load don't go above 50 C. Under idle state it's arround 38-40 C, so I think it can pass with that. Other loud component in my configuration is the PSU (Coolermaster B600 ver.2).
