New Build Complete But Monitor has no signal what do

Im just trying to 1st boot and install windows 10 via usb but my old monitor keeps say there's no signal with the vga cord . Am i supposed to use the ports of the motherbaord or my graphics card to get a signal for my monitor? Do i need a new monitor if so?

Connect it to the graphics card. If you have HDMI or DVI socket in your monitor then use HDMI or DVI-D cable, VGA cable is ancient relic.

I doubt the 750 has a vga port so make sure you are plugging your DVI to VGA adaptor into a DVI-I port and not a DVI-D

That GPU only has one DVI port; so it supports both Analog & Digital

Connect Display to GPU via the DVI-to-VGA adapter if all u have is VGA.

DO NOT connect to Motherboard, that is the Intel GPU.

Go in BIOS and disable Intel GPU or set your GPU priority to: PCIE > iGPU
