Myself running a 2600x which supports max 2933 too, is running DDR4 3200 XMP with no issues.
Entirely possible a later Bios version added support and not update site.
the imc is on the cpu, so if bios will allow 3200 its safe
but check with cpuz to see what its actually running at, it may be using the 3200 profile but lowering only the clock to 2933/2 (1466mhz)
Zen3 also has a listed spec of 3200 MHz but the limit is up to 2000 MHz, which translates to being able to run 4000 MHz RAM without issue as long as it's stable.
Zen and Zen+ had a locked FCLK where you couldn't adjust it. Zen barely benefited from faster RAM above 3000 MHz, while Zen+ "capped" at 3200 MHz.
i check CPU-Z and they're running in 3200 i think, DRAM Frequency: 1600mhz
Uncore Frequency: 1596mhz, so 1600x2 = 3200mhz?
