It's logitech G603, and I realized that one of the batteries has leaked, it seems. So I took out the batteries and changed to an older wired mouse. Fortunately it was not my main mouse.
One of the batteries has leaked it seems, I wonder if something got fried as the mouse doesn't work anymore.
put in new batteries, and spin them a few turns
