What's the lifetime of the Corsair MM800 RGB(Plastic)
Hi.
I was wondering how long before the Corsair MM800 RGB is worn out. My current Razer (Goliathus, I think) is dead and I need a new mouse mat. Now, since I'm saving up for a new CPU, MOBO and RAM, I would prefer to not waste 60 bucks on lights. My final gaming setup will use the MM800 so buying one now would mean not buying it later.

Hardware does not come with lifespans.

Does your mousepad really need RGB lighting? You can save 30bucks by getting a NON-RGB mousepad

Not referring to warranty. Referring to how long I can use it before it is worn out to the point that it's hard to use.

I really care about looks and don't mind spending extra for it.

The only definitive answer to your question is it should last at least 2 years, according to the warranty. The length of time it will last beyond that depends on too many factors regarding how you use it and the mouse you're using.

I have the plastic corsair MM1000 mouse mat to charge my Dark Core. I've had it just over a year and it doesn't look like breaking anytime soon.

should not be a lifespan but you can go on an average lifespan of what reports people say theirs burned out. i still own my first imac well over 15 years old and still runs haha
