USB ports not working while PC is shut down
So I just got a new keyboard and mouse which have leds and whenever I turn my computer off. Basically I want to be able to charge my controller or something else through my computer's usb while the computer is completly shut down.I've tried a couple things I've found on Google but nothing worked. Has anyone ever experienced this and do you have a fix for it ?

Hello, i also had this issue and found a solution eventually and mine was with settings in the BIOS. In the BIOS navigate to advanced tab then select Onboard device configuration, then scroll down to the bottom to find, USB power delivery in soft off state - the should be set to enabled.

they were the settings on an ASUS ROG STRIX B550E.

Agree. Defo works on my DEL machine and on my ASUS ROG machine too. Note not all USB ports necessarily will be powered, only ones that are a "root hub" on some PCs will allow charging.

The inside of a port might be blue or might be black on some, that's not to do with charging, that's normally colours used as a USB3/USB2 indicator respectively.

Because they're different things designed for different purposes.

You might as well say well tablets have touchscreens as standard, so why not PCs?

We can all make similar arguments, but it doesn't matter. It only matters whether it's TRUE. And that's going to be somthing you find out in the individual specs.

Do you realise you're replying to yourself?
Lol. That's a massive ♥♥♥♥ up on my part. My bad.

I'm going to leave this here for the laugh.
