Best pc for farming simulator 19
Hi, I’m sorry if this has been covered before but couldn’t find relevant thread....I want to buy a pc for my son to play FS19 on -(and hopefully some school work at some point too) he currently uses our laptop. Ideally don’t want to spend more than £500, happy to buy second hand, I get very confused on the system Requirements so would really appreciate if someone could signpost to a ready to go pc I can just buy! He really wants an iMac but from my understanding our budget won’t stretch to one with the right capabilities - apologies for my cluelessness!

I would strongly recommend against buying Apple computers.
And laptops usually have heating problems.

You should also probably find a computer that meets the minimum system requirements.

To see if a computer can meet the system requirements, just compare the parts of the PC you are looking at to the parts listed in the requirements.

The minimum requirements for Farming Simulator 19 are:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i3-2100T @ 2.5GHz or AMD FX-4100 @3.6 GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 650, AMD Radeon HD 7770 graphics card or better (min. 2 GB VRAM, DX11 support)
Storage: 20 GB available space

Here is a random PC I found on Best Buy for comparison.[www.bestbuy.com]
It is called the "Dell - Inspiron Gaming Desktop - Intel Core i7-9700 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 - 512GB SSD - Black With Silver Trim"

You may already be seeing similarities between the requirements and the name of that PC, like GTX, GB, ect.

That computer from Best Buy definitely surpasses the requirements for FS19.

It has:
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10?

Windows 10 Home operating system - Yes.

Processor: Intel Core i3-2100T @ 2.5GHz or AMD FX-4100 @3.6 GHz?

9th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-9700 processor - Yes. That processor is much better than an i3

Memory: 4 GB RAM?

16GB system memory with high-bandwidth DDR4 RAM - Yes. 16 gigs is almost always the lowest amount of RAM you should ever have. Try to never go below that.

Storage: 20 GB available space?

512GB solid-state drive (SSD)
While offering less storage space than a hard drive, a flash-based SSD has no moving parts, resulting in faster start-up times and data access. - Yes. Not sure why that computer only has an SSD and no hard drive in it though, but it has enough space for Windows, Steam, and FS19.

Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 650, AMD Radeon HD 7770 graphics card or better (min. 2 GB VRAM, DX11 support)?

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics backed by 4GB GDDR5 dedicated video memory. - Yes. That graphics card is way more powerful than the "recommended" one.

I also don't recommend buying a computer for video games, computers are primarily productivity devices which just so happen to also be able to run games.
But you can do whatever you want.

This one looks half-way decent and should be able to upgrade the PSU and GPU without much hassle when budget allows

AMD 3400G Quad Core 16GB Windows 10 SSD Gaming PC Computer Kamikaze RGB up307[www.ebay.co.uk] £400 + shipping

the Vega11 integrated GPU should have no problem with FS'19 along with all the oldies

plenty of similar rigs in the links to check out as well for the best deal, that was one of the first to come up

No, just no. The mainboard is no good, as are any other mainboards using the low cost and low performance A320 chipset.
That thing struggles even with AMD APUs, let alone proper Ryzen CPUs.

...A320 chipset...
totally missed that, cheers

this would be a better choice, just slightly over budget

I really hope they don't just respond to this question and nothing else here. :taloslol:

Again, mainboard with A320 chipset. Again, avoid completely.

Not only A320, but also 8GB RAM. On other hand, 8GB would be enough for this game.

I'd suggest building the computer yourself. It is way cheaper and a good learning experience as well.

I suggest to use this website = http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/
Have a watch of this too = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhX0fOUYd8Q
