AMD Phenom II X4 B35 help

So , I have that CPU, it's a 4 core, but mine has 2 disabled, I managed to Activate a third core (Foxconn program), but the PC crashed and it reset everything.
My bios doesn't seem to be accessible, neither is there an indicator at the start for what button to press, even pressing any buttons does nothing.
Did I buy something faulty or is my stuff out of date ?

Other specs :
Mobo : Foxconn A76gmv
GPU : GeForce 9600 gt
Ram : kingmax 4gb single stick ddr3

Reset the CMOS and go from there.
No reason it shouldn't work properly will all 4 Cores Enabled.

Don't use any OS software to make adjustments to anything CPU related in terms of Cores, Clocks, Voltage. Do that manually in the BIOS.

It was supposed to replace my E8400 and ATI HD 3450.
The "external program" was downloaded from the mobo's support site.

Quick side note :
Start-up : 4 cores detected
Task manager : 2 cores
Windows hardware list : 4 cores
CPU id : 2 cores
CPU id with some overclocking : 3 cores but all at 1 GHz (even tho they were set to 3.2 ghz

Just reset the CMOS and use all the Defaults.
Shouldn't need to change anything regarding the CPU.
Then clean install Windows; such as Win10 64bit

With that old a setup, I doubt W10 can be installed on it.

Its just an AMD 760 Chipset; it's not THAT old. I've used Win10 just fine on AMD stuff that was using Socket 939 just fine.

The OP's issue there though would be the GPU. It really needs to be changed to something newer; like at least a GTX 750 or better

Above all, if this all was some sort of recent purchase, you got scammed, I'd return it.
As those specs are so old... it was meant more for WinXP 32bit and DX8/9 stuff.

Set the 4 cores to 2.9 in the bios unclick power boost. Disable cool and quiet. The GPU is just to old to work for much of anything so you need to look at a say a 1050 they are fairly inexpensive. You also need one more stick of 4gb. It wont win any contests but it will play most games on medium. Try f8 or delete to acess bios at start up. I currently only play Tf2, Starbound and sven coop.
All of these games run without problems

I'm also looking to buy a 750 ti, there is one near me for about 60 Euros

Hey everyone, I got to the bios( the cmos chip was left on the pins by the previous owner), I reset the cmos, and turns out my CPU is a rebranded Athlon X3 435, it's a 3 core, but still, it's better than my previous CPU, so I managed to OC it to 3.2 ghz and unlocked all cores (oc'd some other stuff too).
Anyways, thanks to the guy who said "reset cmos" and thank you everyone who helped here

ive had plenty of those systems x3 phenoms x3 athlons etc back in the day some can be unlocked some cant.. some will unlock but arent stable etc.. if you have increased voltage a bit to the chip and it still wont unlock properly your sol
