Video TDR Failure (FIX)

Alright so some of you may remember my little issue. Back in the beginng of June I was in a csgo match and my screen started glitching out my PC froze and sent me to the BSOD, this has been happening now since June everytime id play any game I couldnt last 3 mins in the game before the issue would persist again. The error was a Video TDR failure. Was for the nvidia graphics card, everyone said that it means I have issues with my drivers and ill have to buy a new graphics card because the issue persisted. I updated my drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled, no fix.

Last week I decided to uninstall my drivers and install the ones that came out the day before my issue started, I went back in my history and found the day that this issue started, *I texted my friend freaking out* so thats how I got the date. Restarted my PC, launched CSGO and havent had the issue come back. So I hope this can fix anyone who is having this issue.

- What GPU was this?
- What version are you using now?
- What version were you using that cause this issue?
- Did you do DDU in safemode before?

- Nvidia GTX 970
- Version 382.33
- Anything from Version 382.53 - Now
- Yes and I installed the latest one and the issue persisted.

Is the card oc'ed?

Alright, if the issue was resolved, just stick to the drivers you know that works, save it somewhere incase you accidentally updated, or to test a future driver, so you can easily go back to it if things didn't work out.
