This is the controller box http://www.xigmatek.com/product_detail.php?item=222

And this is the strips https://www.coolermaster.com/au/en-au/catalog/cases/accessories/universal-led-strip-rgb/

Thanks mate

The Cooler Master LED strips aren't supported by the Xigmatek controller you are using. The controller is a 3 pin 5v ARGB where-as the LED strips are a standard 12v RGB strip. The strips will not work with the controller.
Your motherboard on the other hand, may be able to depending on model.

Ah okay, so there isn't any way of getting some sort of adapter to make it work? I have a MSI motherboard. If i were to plug it into the motherboard where would it go. I have other RGB fans/lights plugged into my controller so i thought it being "universal" it would work.
If your motherboard has a 12v RGB header you could plug them into there but I think some boards are not able to do both 5v and 12v LED at the same time (I think).
There is no adaptor that would work. RGB and ARGB LED strips are different in the way they communicate with the LEDs.
Okay so how do i know what one is the header. I have a 4 pin slot on my motherboard that says "JRGB1" would that be it?
Sounds like it but a motherboard model or the manual will tell you for sure.
Alright, thanks alot for your help mate been greatly appreciated!
Got them working now! Thanks again!
