Rocket League Won't Open ntdll.dll error
When I try to open Rocket League the game shows the popup of preparing to launch then the side bar says running and briefly syncing then it just stops and acts as if it were never opened. I tried reinstalling about 6 times, verifying my cache, running as administrator, deleting the files in the RL folder and installing again, updating windows, and launching in windows 8 compatibility. When I go into my event viewer to see what is going on this is what it says under the INFORMATION EVENT:

If anyone has help or guidance I would appreciate it. The log leads me to believe something is wrong with the ntdll.dll application, but I don't know what that means or how to remedy it.


Also here are my specs:

-CPU: i7-9700k
-GPU: RTX 2080
-Ram: 2x8gb 3200mhz
-Steam is stored on an M.2 SSD

just reinstall vc redist and direct x in the common redist folder no need to keep reinstalling the game . then restart steam and rocket . if that doesn't work get rid of alpha console and retry

i have reinstalled vc redist and direct x but not from the "common redist folder" as it is not included with the game any more, and tryed Win 7 compatibility as Administrator and many more compatibility options, it still have same error with the ntdll.dll

try opening a command prompt as an Administrator and typing

sfc /scannow

It'll take a while but it will attempt to verify and repair Windows files

It's in the root of your Steam Library now.

I already said this on another thread, but if anyone sees this:

Had a similar problem. It is related with microsoft cloud, for anyone curious. I deleted C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\My Games\Rocket League\TAGame\Cache (windows didnt let me with folder explorer, so i used cmd commands). After that (and disabling cloud storage on steam, rocket league properties) the game reported a problem related with dlls, so i run sfc /scannow on cmd and it repaired. You can also try reinstalling windows visual 2015. Good luck
