GTX 1060 6gb vs RX 580?

Both are the same price in my country literally the same price so which one is the besT?

I know it will depend on the games both are good and can deliver good fps but i just want to know xD

They are equal in some titles, 1060 pulls ahead in Nvidia optimized titles, 580 pulls ahead in AMD optimized titles. Overall, they're within 2% of each other.

It comes down to cost since they are virtually equals, and the RX 580 is cheaper in most cases but it is much less power efficient than even GTX 1080s so when you have a RX 580, the minimum requirement is a 500W PSU when you could settle for a 450W with a 1060 (though still not really recommended, limited upgrade headroom with that)\

As a result of them being pretty much equally priced in your country as you said, the 1060 would probably be the better choice because there are more titles optimized for Nvidia than AMD and it's more power efficient. The RX 580 is only a better deal in cases when it's much cheaper.

2600 would be a better purchase, just make sure you get 3000 MHz for maximum peformance from memory.

Get future proofing out of your head or you'll always worry about it.

These are mid-range specs we're talking about, and the 1060 is going to be replaced by the 1160 and/or 2060 sometime in 2019, and they're around 1070 performance. These specs will be completely obsolete within 5 years, if I had to guess, as we're on the verge of 7nm processors while the current technology is 12nm, and that's a significant gap. Of course, the first 7nm products will have issues like Threadripper 1 did, but the following generation/refresh will likely fix those issues like Threadripper 2.

Some of those games like SotTR are AMD optimized. They used a mish-mash of differently optimized titles to have a fair playing field.

1-5 FPS is also next to nothing as they both acheive 60 FPS easily at 1080p, medium to high settings on most games but sometimes ultra.

That's up to you, but many would recommend waiting for the 2060/1160.

Personally, I would honestly wait for RX 3000 series AMD GPUs to release in 2019 as SUPPOSEDLY the 3080 is supposed to match the 2070 for half the price. If they can pull that off, it would be smart to instead settle for an RX 3070 or 3080 depending on pricing.

Ryzen 3rd gen is also going to be 7nm, so it remains to be seen if it's going to be smart to get one right off the bat as we have no idea what could happen as 7nm is something that Intel struggled with for a long time. There could be very huge issues with it.
I'm not upgrading from my 2700X any time soon. Maybe a few years down the line, it depends where they go with the soon to be released Ryzen 9 lineup which is supposed to feature 16 core 32 thread chips. The flagship 3850X is claimed to have 5 GHz turbo, which would put it in same ballpark of the i9-9900K right off the bat, potentially even destroying it in benchmarks.

There is supposedly going to be an 1160, a version without raytracing that will be cheaper.

All PC components become less useful over time as software demands higher performance. You won't be able to play the latest games on a 1060 6GB at all within 2~4 years depending on the GPU requirements.
