I want to jump start old PSU before I blow my self up
I just bought old supply for 15!!! euros and its not obviously working. I have tried to jump start it but it doesnt start. Tomorrow I will take useless parts from it if it doesnt start giving me POWER !!! or I just end up dead because I must be total idiot because I cant even start a computer power supply. Model of it is ATX-250PA

Throw it in the skip.

Throw it away. Seriously, you should never cheap-out when it comes to PSU's, as low-quality models have the potential to fry your components if they suddenly fail. I wouldn't even use them for parts (taking apart a PSU can be pretty hazardous if it still holds a charge, by the way).

I always empty capacitors by putting srewdriver between these 2 points. some times I put my tongue there to empty it fully

just joking noting worked

follow this advice.. seriously!

never use cheap junk PSU's to power anything you care about
Im powering up my hydrogen generator to make explosive balloons or a lighter

so now I got some 5 volts from molex when I connected purple to 10 ohm to ground

AFAIK it is usual for a PSU to not do anything unless connected to a mobo.

ATX power supplies are used in other things than pc. They can be also jump started by combining couple of pins without being connected to anything.
what ever im gonna put my PSU to parts even Im affair im gonna get shock cuz my PSU went crazy when I putted some random wires together

Yes, that's what I'm implying, you need to have some load on some pins, merely turning on and signal start is not enough.

Just a random search: https://superuser.com/questions/552574/turning-on-atx-power-supply-with-no-load demonstrates that 10 people post 12 different opinions. :-/
I part them out all time, if it dont work, you pop it open and see if the fuse is good, sometimes power surges can blow them. But that modle isnt really worth anything.

If you like to tinker like i do, i always steal the female power plug out of them, the switch, and the fan for other projects or replacement parts.

Im I blind or why I have not seen it yet
The PSU is literally the heart that beats, which supplies power to your entire system or......

it does not.

Not only enough power needs to be supplied, but the power needs to be cleanly supplied. Never go cheap on a PSU, and replace this one if needed ASAP.
