But do you have 1x8Gb or 2x4Gb kit of RAM?
If you have just 1x 8Gb, you're missing about 20-33% of cpu's performance from lack of Dual Channel alone. And if you also have slow RAM, that's 5-10% more missing performance.
The FPS difference is going to depend on how RAM dependant the game in question is.
However, why pair an 8 lane APU with a budget GPU? Why not pair it with a 16 lane 1400 for less but better performance?
Excuse me? According to whom? Obviously that’s not the way you usually think, Omega. The Omega I know would talk it out like an adult in stead of pouting.
And besides, RAM does affect THAT CPU’s family. Anything below DDR4-2660 will slow Ryzen down. It’s been said by you you and others many times in these forums.
So I have a question. When you told me to own up to what I was saying, but then I proved you wrong,...is that what you’re now mad about? Maybe you should talk it out in chat like an adult in stead of pouting at me in the forums when I reply to you.
It is always recommended to use 2 sticks instead of one because you're missing like 1/5th of the performance otherwise.
So let's assume:
We have 3 Ryzen machines all identical aside from the RAM setup;
1. 2x4gb @ 2133Mhz
2. 2x4gb @ 3200MHz
3. 1x8gb @ 3200Mhz
We run a simple CPU benchmark or a game which is not RAM depend, system 2 and system 3 will perform identical and system 1 performs the worst.

When we are talking about gaming performance; in the more demanding AAA titles single vs dual does indeed make a difference. However this is not an AMD only thing, you will get the same performance boost with dual over single on Intel.
If OP was running an Intel machine the single vs dual channel question would have never been brought up while it has the exact same impact on performance.

OK, but that doesn't change the fact that RYZEN will perform better under Dual Channel. OP will have to use dual Channel to get the most out of it. OP should be just fine with 2x8GB or 4x4GB DDR4-2660
Not everyone can drop 1K on a rig all at once. Sometimes baby steps are the way to go.
