What do you guys recommend for another CPU then?
Ryzen 3 1200 at the very least. Will require new motherboard and RAM of course.
Keep in mind if you're going to upgrade that will also cost you to get the right Motherboard and the DDR4 memory.
Connect your monitor to the dedicated videocard.
Motherboard should be around $50-$60, and the CPU is probably $100. But don't forget about the memory that you need, explicitly the DDR4 memory because there's no support for older models, and prices for speed may vary. The availble and maximum support for the required Motherboard is 2133 MHz, 2400 MHz, 2666 MHz, 3000 MHz, and 3200 MHz.
try set 1080p low settings FXAA.
Unistal GEFORCE EXPERIENCE since is useless.
Speed test your PC in less than a minute.

If you're stuck and pegged at 30fps ^ then have another look at your settings, the GTX960 and 1050ti are par with each other.
I agree with Josh, GFE is a mostly useless piece of turd get rid of it (DDU and install latest drivers without GFE).
IMHO the 1200 is undershooting and should be avoided, the Ryzen 1600 is much better value and usefull to you.
The Ryzen 1200 OC'd just doesn't impress enough ^.
Skip to 35:23 ^ for the graphs, 1600 is much more impressive and GTA V doesn't mind the extra cores vs a straight 4 core.
If the monitor was connected to the motherboard then maybe the integrated graphics was the problem I don't know how well that processor would run the game but sadly it won't run it all too well regardless. I guess it may be a pretty new machine too so that's kinda disturbing.
Another alternative to new Intel or Ryzen stuff and DDR4 would be to get an old Intel board and old Intel processor preferably some Xeon if you could get one cheap which run on that specific motherboard (may be hard to tell for you) because then you could reuse your RAM at-least.
