Try that for every game's EXE where you experience this issue in a game on Win10
Also might want to try setting NVIDIA Control Panel's Vertical Sync to Adaptive or Fast and see how that works out too.
In game too 1080p 144hz.
That was an added game mode feature of Win10 1709 (Creators - Fall Update Edition)
Also please run the in-game benchmark 3 full times and then share the results so we can get an idea of a good average baseline per whatever visual settings you have applied.
After a gtav benchmark has completed, the results will be in here, in a text file:
C:\Users\#YourUserName\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V
I said that in other applications is ok/
If is in fault then why on window mode is ok, and in other apps is fine.
I tested fire strike, time spy stress tests and have 98% passed so its fine.
Do you know how to configure Windows 10? Seriously...
Disable all the crap... start there.
Xbox, DRR, GameMode, Game Optimize... DISABLE
Didn't actually know about this full screen optimisation thing myself to be honest, but I only just upgraded to fcu yesterday and have only been running benchmarks since hehe
Yea it's fine, FOR THOSE THINGS.
There is nothing wrong with GTAV or its Benchmark, so please do it.
If your results are poor, then its your game or OS settings; simple as that.
Yea you need to wipe out all your Drivers and redo them.
Then go disable all the crap I said above, since your OS settings are now on defaults once again.
Can somebody explain me what is this option FULL SCREEN OPTIMISATION to off? What this changing in system?
Yeah, sadly no need for me to worry about wiping drivers, the fcu has a bug where it won't upgrade if you use a Samsung 960 as a boot drive on x299, so had to do a fresh clean install, so all drivers are going in fresh anyway, as the system was clean it's why I've been chasing overclocking results hehe, but I'll keep an eye out for that big if I notice anything running slow, cheers.
To op, glad it's working.
