Has anybody else bootcamped there macbook pro and green able to change there dedicated video ram from 32mb go anything higher. I've tried everything on line and it says mac os is restricting it but there has to be a way.

Why do you even need that?

well currently i have a macbook pro 2012 with 8 GB ram and it has 1.79gb of video ram but only 32mb has been dedicated.

when i am on the OS side it says i have all 1.79gb sperated evenily and gaming is smooth. but with my windows partition i only have 32mb of dedicated video ram and no games really run besides Terraria as that isnt a very demanding game.

My system is technically and should be able to run games like Rainbow six Seige or Farcry 4 but windows has dedicated a rediciliously low amount of video ram when i have so much going to waste.

i do apologise for all my spelling errors.

Don't they run at all, or don't they run well? Because if they just throw an error at you - you might try using 3D Analyze utility to make the game think you've got some other card. But honestly - running Far Cry 4 on old integrated graphics doesn't sound realistic.

for what its worth it should be able to run games pretty decently.
8gb Ram
Intel Core i5-3210m cpu @ 2.5ghz
1792mb Total Avaliable Video memory

but the only problem is i only have 32mb dedicated video memory.
games run but theyre not good at all and everywhere ive looked said that the OS operating system is stopping me from changing that but there has to be some smart human that is able to help.

No, the only problem you have is your GPU can't adequately run games like Far Cry 4.

All you have is Intel Graphics. Meaning most games will refuse to run or run well. Your specs are terrible at best. Sell it and buy a good gaming Win10 laptop.

If that's just the integrated graphics you are not going to run Fallout 4 well if at all.

Fallout 4 requires a 550ti and up.

Why even own a macbook.... Soldered on RAM, soldered on SSD. PCH (Gone) replaced with T2-chip which encrypts all drives by default if the T2 chip dies you can't recover anything. T2-chip is locked to each SSD.

Because they're junk. You want the article about the T2-Chip? Platform Controller Hub no longer exists.

It is not better than 90% of PCs.

Battery saving maybe. But thats a pretty weak mobile chip. Powerful and battery efficient are two incompatible concepts. Unless your laptop maker has gotten clever with undervolting it under low loads and boosts the voltage when it needs it only.

2012 Macbook double yuck. In a nutshell you can't play games of demanding nature.

Don't expect too much from apple support either.
