Budget PC for low end games parts
Hello
I currently have an old PC,about 10 years old but i have upgraded the graphics card and power supply on it.
Im thinking instead of buying a pre-build new pc, and wasting these parts, i would rather buy a new case and just buy the remaining parts and build it into that case?

can someone recommend what are the best "the same level" parts to upgrade my system with?

These are the upgraded parts:
Graphics card - 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Power supply - 500W

So i guess i need to buy,
1. New case
2. RAM
3. CPU
4. Motherboard

5. and maybe SSD? ( i already have hard drive that still works)

Can someone pls recommend the parts to buy that are not high end, but just to match my graphics card?

my current remaining parts that are currently older than Jesus himself:
Processor - AMD Athlon II X4 630 Processor
Motherboard - Dell Inc.04GJJT (CPU 1)
RAM - 6GB of something i dont even know what

The GTX750ti isn't going to do any different on a better cpu it'll still be a 750ti.

If you must upgrade the the Ryzen 2600 is a good cpu paired with 3000mhz ram and a modest B450 mobo. Ultimately Budget plays a part in what you can get so even a Ryzen 1600 might be a possibility.

Soooooo, you've got to come up with a budget.

What you need is just build a whole new pc. GTX 750 Ti is much too slow for 1080p gaming and a PSU that old can be trusted.

If the psu lacks the following, it's most likely not worth using on any modern motherboard since around 2011/2012 boards.

ATX 2.xx specs
80+ bronze minimum
24pin or 20+4pin main atx power
Contains at least an EPS 4+4pin and at least 1x 6pin PCIE GPU connections.
Active PFC

If psu has a 110v/220v toggle switch on it, stop using it. Recycle it properly
1. what is your budget?
2. what do you expect to do with your pc exactly?
3. your gtx 750 ti is an ok match for your athlon but with your motherboard there is not much you can do with a better cpu if possible at all...
4. an i3 or i5 and even i7 of 2-4 gen systems can be bought super cheap on ebay
5. why would it be a waste if you sell your old parts and get something new?
Could buy a used Dell Optiplex with 4770 or 4790 cpu, 16gb ram, ssd and hdd and simply change out the PSU, maybe for SeaSonic SSG 520w and install your gpu, or a better one into that system. They are still decent pc specs those 4th gen i7 and the whole pc can be had for rather cheap.

Then make your own Win10 64bit boot media with your own usb flash drive and clean install the OS
