If you must upgrade the the Ryzen 2600 is a good cpu paired with 3000mhz ram and a modest B450 mobo. Ultimately Budget plays a part in what you can get so even a Ryzen 1600 might be a possibility.

and punch stuff in ^ there.
If the psu lacks the following, it's most likely not worth using on any modern motherboard since around 2011/2012 boards.
ATX 2.xx specs
80+ bronze minimum
24pin or 20+4pin main atx power
Contains at least an EPS 4+4pin and at least 1x 6pin PCIE GPU connections.
Active PFC
If psu has a 110v/220v toggle switch on it, stop using it. Recycle it properly
2. what do you expect to do with your pc exactly?
3. your gtx 750 ti is an ok match for your athlon but with your motherboard there is not much you can do with a better cpu if possible at all...
4. an i3 or i5 and even i7 of 2-4 gen systems can be bought super cheap on ebay
5. why would it be a waste if you sell your old parts and get something new?
Then make your own Win10 64bit boot media with your own usb flash drive and clean install the OS
