hermes m1 keyboard
hello there, so i got some issues with my keyboard. yesterday morning i turned my pc on and i was not able to login my pc due keyboard acting weird (my pc pw is numbers,so it was typing @@#$$%$# etc, it was acting like it was only using buttons that u get from alt+ctrl or altgr , no numbers or letters.) this issue was fixed after clicking easy to access button on windows login page (i believe thts how u call that button , etc where u can open onscreen keyboard and turn sticky keys off or on).
So after that , my keyboard has been lagging like hell, its like either not typing letters sometime or doing long slide on them (etc if u click on a, it will write aaaaaaa instead). Also some buttons are not working at all - n,b,right arrow, left arrow and down arrow and also shift doesnt make all letters big, just some (etc holding shift then some buttons not working but works without shift).

Maybe i clicked some button while trying to login, that caused this problem, idk. Maybe someone had similar issue and was able to fix it? I have tried almost all tutorials , nothing seems to be working. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

If you're in the EU then you can return electronics that are <2 years old - ignore 1 year warranty.

Publicado originalmente por europa.eu:
Free of charge, 2-year guarantee for all goods

You always have the right to a minimum 2-year guarantee at no cost, regardless of whether you bought your goods online, in a shop or by mail order.

This 2-year guarantee is your minimum right, however national rules in your country may give you extra protection.

If goods you bought anywhere in the EU turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised, the seller must repair or replace them free of charge or give you a price reduction or a full refund.

You can usually only ask for a partial or full refund when it is not possible to repair or replace the goods.

Or maybe a key stuck down? Like the Win key.

cleaned keyboard fully from dust and hidden food , still same ♥♥♥♥. Dont want to believe its keyboard fault because its kinda weird if all these keys stopped working at the same time and only altgr stuff are active on windows login :/ friend thinks it could be windows registry ♥♥♥♥ or something. I dont even know what he means with that lol

EDIT also it cant be because, shift makes most of keys big, while the ones it doesnt are working fine without shift

This is definitely a hardware problem. I'm already using 3rd Hermes M1 keyboard in the last 2 years due to warranty replacements for the exact same problem (same problem but various degrees, from only 1 key behaving badly after 7 months of use to all the keys after only 2 weeks) and I will return this one as well after only 2 weeks of use. They always (2 times already) issued a new keyboard with new 2 year warranty which is OK but still ridiculous that it breaks so easily. Luckily the store who sold it to me said that if the problem persists I can demand model change for my next replacement which I will definitely do.
