How to disable "fullscreen optimizations"?
I want to apply it all to everything because this literally hindred my performance in games since it would cause stuttering.

well unfortunately
as far as i know you'll have to do it manually for every game via their .exe's in the compatibility tab
not aware of anything that can do it for all games at once.

And stuttering can be caused by any number of things, not specifically full screen optimization

You could just play borderless mode for the games that support it.

For me it was fullscreen optimizations. I posted in another thread what I did to solve it until i look to this.

In some cases "fullscreen optimizations" force a game to run in borderless mode instead of fullscreen one, and Desktop Windows Manager is as bad as every other thing Microsoft does, so that's how turning off that crap can help some games run better. But I'd advice against turning that off global, because some games (Far Cry 5 in example) don't support exclusive fullscreen mode at all, and might not launch if you turn off fullscreen optimizations.
Does it work for windows 11 though? I’ve been trying to disable it on a game, but a properties tab just does not show up

Better hope someone responds some as Moderators have the habit of locking threads that get necro'd to prewve

No idea, don't use 11 so I can't test anything. Thought I link some search results as Moderators have a habit of locking necro'd threads and that may happen before anyone else responds

I have no need of this anymore, as this was supposed to help stop a stuttering that i have already fixed. Thank you for the reply though, and thank you for the information!
This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
