What? I don't this "Nr. 2" in the video. I just can select a programm and use the settings. Wow... how do I get this one? :(
Thanks for your help
There isn't an option for this usage. Maybe it just works for notebooks? https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/520731/pc-games/can-39-t-find-34-run-with-graphics-processor-34-option/1/
I don't know if it's current, I mean its from 2013 but I can't choose this option when I right click on it.
Do you have a desktop or a laptop?
Desktop
That option is only for laptops. Games will use whatever graphics adptor your monitor is connected to.
Make sure your monitor is connect to you GPU and not your motherboard's IO panel. If your monitor is connect to your GPU, you're using it.
Try running the DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ installers from the _CommonRedist folder, located in the game's install folder.
And since it's an desktop, write down your specs please.
I'll try it after lunch. Thanks!
I have a:
-GTX 960 2GB
-i5 4590 4x 3.30 GHz
-8 GB Ram
And the game is installed on a HDD.
I hope that will help.
Btw, I've Windows 8... don't know if this is also important.
But I've one question for DirectX and Microsoft Visual. Do I have to install x64 or x86? Sorry.
And maybe upgrading to w10 in the future.
I updated to Windows 10... and yea... still the problem. ;///
What about the nvidia driver, up2date?
Any 3rd party app or so running?
Yes, after the windows 10 update I installed the current nvidia driver.
Well, sadly I already verified the game. :((
W10 also up2date? visual c++ and so on?

Select your gpu and type :recommended/certified
Yes it is only for Laptops, because those using Intel+NVIDIA, both GPUs must work together.
On Desktop they never do. You wont see or use your Intel GPU on a Desktop unless you connect a Display to the Motherboard Video Output.
Displays should be plugged into your NVIDIA dedicated slot GPU card though.
To address issues with all 3 Dark Souls games; you need to go into NVIDIA Control Panel > Add or Select the game via Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings and then set that game profile to use all the default settings, nothing from Global. Then within the Dark Souls games, enable VSync. Otherwise the games will run like crap.
