New Graphics Card
Thinking about replacing my old graphics card. Hows this? https://www.amazon.com/GeForce-STRIX-Ready-Graphic-STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING/dp/B01JHQT1SE?th=1
Also, my pc is really loud, probably the case fans, so buying a new graphics card wouldn't quiet it down at all, correct? Sorry I'm not that experienced with building PCs yet

The 1060 would be a signifigant upgrade on your current GPU however, your CPU is not great and will likely bottleneck a 1060.

hmm, thanks for the response, but what does that mean exactly? should i not buy it then

It simply means that your GPU will be waiting for the CPU to send it data and thus won't be used to it's full potential.

Think driving a Ferrari with a 100 MPH limiter. It can do much more but is restricted.

Good to know, thanks. Would it still be worth the buy?

Oh undoubtedly. Just remember that it won't be used to 100% of it's potential.

It'll still be great though, so don't let anyone tell you it's not worth it.

If you do get it you can always re-use it if you upgrade (replace) the rest of your PC and that'll be one less cost.

Also consider the AMD Radeon RX 480. It is now equivalent in performance to the Geforce GTX 1060: https://youtu.be/gEw3CaNSbUo
