Hyperkin X91 Controller Help?
I recently bought the Hyperkin X91 Xbone controller because I liked the old school design, but I cannot seem to get it to work on my computer. I am running Windows 7, and plugging in the controller does not install any drivers. I have also manually downloaded the Xbox One driver, and tried to manually apply it to the controller, but it does not work. The drvier does not show up in my list of drivers. The 360 driver shows up, but the controller doesnt work with the 360 driver. I cannot find any Hyperkin specific drivers online.

Has anyone been able to get these controllers working on Windows 7, or am I SOL?

You actually can make it work on Windows 7, open Device Manager in w7, you have to manually force to install the drivers, look for Hyperkin x91 in there, then right click, "Browse my computer for driver software">"Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer", then a list will pop you will need to select "Show all devices" option (the first one) then you will need to wait for the list of drivers to load, when search is done look after "Microsoft" at left list and "Microsoft Xbox One Controller" at the right list, a warning message will apear, click yes and done, it will turn on it led and vibrate to let you know that it worked.

To clarify this a bit, you need to manually download the "Microsoft Xbox One Controller" driver and install it ahead of time. If the controller doesn't automatically work on Windows 7 after doing this, then manually install it by the method Nyol listed above. When I first bought this controller it wouldn't work and only had the Xbox 360 controller drivers listed when following Nyol's method, but when I manually downloaded the "Microsoft Xbox One Controller" driver my system was able to recognize it immediately. The driver I downloaded and installed is this one: https://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/17648/

You're all beautiful. I just got one of these on Amazon, and was about to return it since it looked like the USB wasn't even recognizing the X91 as a valid device. Once the driver was loaded though the thing sprang right to life. Thanks a bunch!
